WILL HICKS aka B|_ank is a Portland, OR-based experimental drummer who has toured unconventional AV performances for many years. For this run, they step away from drums to perform “drone1____live” a single long-form drone piece written for ARP Odyssey. It’s a focused, patient piece of music built around sustained tension and the physical weight of sound.

TIM DUKES (half of Malverde) makes sound art and electronic music in the style of 1960’s academia, for his own edification. He will exhibit some phat drones for the audience a couple times per year.

DEREK DUNN is a Canadian artist based in Orlando whose sonic explorations range from ambient soundscapes to chaotic, unlearned jazz. Derek’s solo work casts a wide net—transforming drum kits into synth controllers, synthesized and sample based ambient mash or diving into primitive guitar meditations.

There is a cat (but you will not see her). BYOB and limit smoking to outdoors. Please bring cash! The show is free, but we strongly encourage donations for the performers and buying merch
